De witte bladeren/lenzen vertakken zich vanuit één tak en vormen zo een zeer technische, natuurlijke structuur. Door gebruik te maken van de techniek van het aanbrengen van geleidende lagen (elektrosandwich), is de lamp zeer dun en fragiel. Een ontwerp dat niet mogelijk is met normale draden.
De bladeren van de Heracleum zitten niet vast in één positie. Ze kunnen vrij worden verplaatst door ze rond de steel te draaien. Heracleum II zorgt voor decoratief sfeerlicht. Het frame is gemaakt van metaaldraad, de lenzen van polycarbonaat en de ophangdraad is ultradun.
