De Formakami hanglamp is een moderne interpretatie van klassieke Aziatische papieren lantaarns. Ons doel was om een hanglamp te creëren die het leven van mensen zowel letterlijk als symbolisch verlicht. De witte kleur van de kap benadrukt de lichtheid van rijstpapier en de open onderkant maximaliseert de hoeveelheid licht. Zwart gebeitste eikenhouten ringen geven de handgemaakte kap van Formakami een aangenaam ritme. De ontwerper, bekend om zijn speelse ontwerpen, heeft ronde vormen in verschillende maten gecombineerd, met als resultaat een collectie van drie unieke hanglampen.
