Die Akari-Leuchten werden in Handarbeit aus lichtdurchlässigem Washi-Papier gefertigt, das aus der inneren Rinde des Maulbeerbaums hergestellt wird. Der Designer vergleicht das Licht der Akari-Leuchten mit Sonnenlicht, das durch traditionelle Papiertüren gefiltert wird – die Lichtskulpturen erzeugen ein warmes Leuchten und eine angenehme Atmosphäre.
Kaufhinweise: Dieses Produkt wird in sorgfältiger Handarbeit aus Papier und Klebstoff gefertigt. Daher können am Rand des Lampenschirms leichte Klebstoffreste sichtbar sein. Dies ist normal und kein Qualitätsmangel.
