Met een ruwe, eenvoudige buitenkant en een ingewikkelde binnenkant zijn de Seltanica-lampen met de hand gegoten uit wit polystyreen met hoge dichtheid.
"Te vaak worden de performatieve kwaliteiten van sierlijke oppervlakken afgedaan als 'louter ornament', dat wil zeggen kieskeurige, vreemde symbolen van decadentie. Maar hoeveel vaardigheid en plezier hebben wij, als ontwerpers, verloren door afstand te doen van de verplichting om velden van verstrengelde details?" De ontwerpers legden het uit. Seltanica Lampen zijn een poging om de potentieel krachtige relaties tussen het ruige en het sierlijke te herstellen. Terwijl de minimale elegantie van de koele buitenkant van de lamp gedijt door eenvoud, lezen de rustieke muren van het interieur, wollig en ruig genoeg om elk gevoel van harde rand te verliezen, als zachte oppervlakken.
