RBS Cactuslamp 2019 jaar Te zien in The Golden Triangle voor ons 30-jarig jubileum + Global Best. ontwerper Zijn werk bestrijkt het hele spectrum van schaal, materiaal en proces. Ze vertonen allemaal een verfijnd begrip van materialen en esthetische eenvoud. Onlangs heeft de ontwerper wereldwijde erkenning gekregen voor zijn ijsgegoten schepen en zijn meubels van zandgegoten hars. "Nadat ik diep in het proces van het maken van zandmeubels was verdiept, begon mijn studio eruit te zien als een woestijn met enkele centimeters zand op de vloer.
En geen dessert is compleet zonder een Cactus. Ik heb de RBS Cactuslampen op een vergelijkbare manier gemaakt als het meubilair: door een stevig blok zand uit te snijden en dit permanent op zijn plaats te zetten met hars. Dit stuk bevat een glazen element dat met de mond is geblazen in een met de hand gesneden zandblaasvorm.
