De RA Hanglamp, met zijn strakke en minimale lijnen, evenals het gebruik van handgebogen neon, geeft hem een ongeëvenaarde persoonlijkheid en aanwezigheid. Hij neemt de vorm aan als een lichtlijn die in de lucht hangt en benadrukt het moment van zijn hypnotiserende halo. Gemonteerd boven een tafel roept het warme licht herinneringen op aan een avond rond een kampvuur.
Neon roept al lang beelden op van harde, witte commerciële verlichting of heldere, gekleurde flitsende borden in het donker. RA gaf neon een nieuwe bestemming door het op een opvallende manier vorm te geven en zo het middelpunt te worden van warm en luxueus verlichtingsontwerp. De glazen neonbuizen werden met de hand gebogen. , bevatten een mengsel van gas en zeldzame mineralen die een warm, dimbaar licht met verrassende eigenschappen produceren. Verleidelijk en uitzonderlijk straalt RA-verlichting een hypnotiserende helderheid en uitstraling uit.
