De Nelson tafellamp brengt dit klassieke ontwerp van George Nelson naar elke tafel. De elegante lampenkap staat op een stalen voet, verkrijgbaar met of zonder walnotenhouten afdekking, en een gebruiksvriendelijke aan/uit-schakelaar met een massief walnotenhouten uiteinde. De lamp wordt geleverd met een 228 cm lang netsnoer. De Nelson Bubble Lamps werden voor het eerst ontworpen in 1952, toen Nelson geïnspireerd raakte door een set Zweedse hanglampen. De hoge prijs van deze lampen zette Nelson ertoe aan om zijn eigen set te maken. Hij ontwikkelde een innovatief proces waarbij de zijden kap werd vervangen door een doorschijnend plastic materiaal, waardoor de lampen voor een bescheiden prijs verkrijgbaar werden.
