Leimu liet zich inspireren door moderne architectuur, met name de combinatie van beton en glas. Leimu is ontworpen om een vlam na te bootsen en biedt een opvallende balans tussen gevoeligheid en kracht. Het gestroomlijnde ontwerp heeft een delicate mondgeblazen glazen kap en een stevige, betonnen voet. Om de juiste balans tussen beton en glas te bereiken, waren de beste experts van de Iittala-glasfabriek nodig. De handgemaakte Leimu-lamp voelt zacht aan en reflecteert een zacht, zacht licht dat elk interieur verwarmt. Grijs voegt coole verfijning toe.
