Vernoemd naar de Duitse astronoom en astroloog Johannes Kepler, doet deze slanke armatuur denken aan zwarte gaten en portalen uit science fiction. COHDA heeft voor dit ontwerp zeer innovatieve materialen gebruikt, waarbij afzonderlijke LED's over een groot dun oppervlak zijn vermenigvuldigd om het licht breed te breken en de illusie van oneindigheid te wekken.
Het fijne materiaal, dat wordt vergeleken met kousen uit de mode-industrie, creëert een fascinerend effect, als een caleidoscoop van lichtstralen.
De unit is bij installatie verstelbaar met 350 graden beweging rond de X-as en 360 graden op de Y, wat betekent dat elke positie mogelijk is.
De unit kan vervolgens op zijn plaats worden vergrendeld om de configuratie en positie te behouden. Hoewel Kepler uniek en intrigerend is als op zichzelf staand stuk, creëert het aanbrengen van lagen in de transparante eenheden een oogverblindend effect wanneer ze gegroepeerd zijn. Met Kepler bestaat de mogelijkheid om enorme en indrukwekkende lichtinstallaties te creëren met behulp van zeer compacte en lichtgewicht units.
