In zijn originele vorm onthult de Iris tafellamp met grote elegantie nieuwe afmetingen en proporties. Het bestaat uit een enorme schijf met een gat in het midden, gemonteerd op een zwarte metalen basis. Deze zeer delicate schijf is geschilderd in witte geplooide stof en omgeven door zwart metaal. Beide zijden van de schijf zijn identiek en helder, waardoor dubbelzijdige verlichting mogelijk is. LED-strips die in de puck zijn geplaatst, stralen een dubbel-fluxlicht uit. Daarom wordt de verlichting verspreid over de centrale en perifere delen van de schijf. Dankzij de verschillende diktes van de stof in de plooien biedt Iris een prachtig spel van schaduwen en licht. De afwerking is uitstekend: levendig, levendig, zacht en warm, het licht lijkt tot leven te komen door beweging.
