Dusk Dawn ontleent zijn naam aan een magische boog van tijd: de aankomst en het vertrek van zacht licht. Het is het moment waarop de zon onder de horizon zakt en een nagloed achterlaat die de komst van de nacht aangeeft, en die ons naar de korte omhelzing van het ochtendlicht voert. Spelend op de kruising van de twee bepalende vormen: een zachte tint en een geometrische, kegelvormige basis, transformeert Dusk Dawn van wat lijkt op een massief koperen volume om een innerlijke kegelvormige 'spits' van licht te onthullen wanneer deze wordt verlicht.
