Deze veelzijdige vloerlamp is strak en sierlijk en heeft slimme details van top tot teen. Aan de bovenkant zorgt de draaiende kegeldiffusor voor direct licht dat kan worden verplaatst. Aan de onderkant wordt hij verzwaard door een prachtige voet van wit Carrara- of zwart Marquina-marmer. De steel en kegel zijn verkrijgbaar in geverfd staal of geborsteld messing. De diffuser is een spuitgegoten opaal fotogegraveerde PC (polycarbonaat). Het netsnoer is 200 centimeter lang en beschikt over een voetschakelaar met AAN-UIT-functies.
De inspiratie achter het ontwerp: Er schuilt een dualiteit in dit fijn uitgebalanceerde stuk van de kunstenaar. "Ik wilde een lamp ontwerpen die een tweeledig doel had", zegt hij. “Het is een opwaartse aansteker, die de ruimte verlicht met sfeerverlichting, en de rotatie ervan biedt ook een schemerige metgezel bij het lezen. Er is sprake van evenwicht, met een kegel die subtiel op zijn punt op een roterende staaf rust.”
