De originele handgeblazen glazen bollen doen denken aan de drijvers en boeien die de rivier versieren. De geïntegreerde lampknop op de bovenste stuurpen dempt de schittering van het licht. De voet is verkrijgbaar in marmer. Mainkai wordt gemaakt door ambachtslieden in China.
