Het begon allemaal met een reis naar India, waar hij in aanraking kwam met de intensiteit van een cultuur die stilte en chaos, spiritualiteit en ellende combineert. Hier ontdekte de ontwerper heilige ovale stenen en besloot dezelfde vorm opnieuw te creëren met behulp van glas. De naam ‘Atman’ komt van een Sanskrietwoord dat ‘ziel’ betekent.
