De gestroomlijnde vorm van
Acorn is geïnspireerd op een natuurlijke vorm, waardoor het organische contouren en een ingetogen profiel heeft gekregen. De kap lijkt op de lege schil van een eikel, die hol wordt zodra de gerijpte noot is losgebroken. Net als de stengel van een eikel loopt de bovenkant van de kap taps toe in een voelbare vorm.
De lamp is gestroomlijnd en verfijnd en hangt aan het plafond met een zijden koord dat de voedingskabel erin verbergt. De lamp wordt aan het plafond bevestigd met een plafondkap die in dezelfde stijl als de kap is vervaardigd.
