Het telraam werd eeuwenlang gebruikt als instrument om wiskunde te onderwijzen en te communiceren en werd in de een of andere vorm overal in de antieke wereld aangetroffen. Bij Vakkerlight zagen we de schoonheid van de wiskundige zuiverheid en het strakke, functionele ontwerp van het telraam. In handen van Vakkerlight-vakmensen hebben we deze inspiratie omgezet in een nieuwe collectie modulaire hanglampen waarvan de flexibiliteit complexe en mooie configuraties mogelijk maakt. Elke module, of streng, van Abacus bevat een op maat gemaakte set rond, handgeblazen opaalglas dat straalt een zacht en uniform licht uit.
En omdat de oorspronkelijke telraam werd gebruikt om alles te berekenen, van eenvoudige optellingen tot complexe formules, hebben we dezelfde schaalbaarheid behouden.
