Queste conchiglie sono realizzate a mano da artigiani a Capiz, nelle Filippine, dove vengono raccolte dalle ostriche locali. In un processo completamente rifinito a mano, ogni guscio viene pulito, tagliato, dipinto, incorniciato con sottili cinghie di ottone, incordate e fissate a un telaio placcato in ottone. Un fulgido esempio di artigianalità.
