La serie di lampade è stata prodotta e venduta per molti anni dalla società elettrica norvegese Sønnico (Oslo). Nel 1954 la lampada da tavolo, allora conosciuta come “s-30016”, venne premiata con la prestigiosa Medaglia d'Oro alla Triennale di Milano.
Nel 2013 abbiamo deciso di rilanciare questo classico del design, facendo attenzione a preservare la forma originale e le caratteristiche altamente funzionali che all'inizio la rendevano una lampada così amata. La serie di lampade Birdy è disponibile nel colore bianco o grigio con finitura acciaio e nel colore nero con finitura metallo nero o ottone.
