In einem jahrhundertealten Verfahren bearbeiten Kunsthandwerker Metallstreifen von Hand mit einem Hammer, um lebendige, unregelmäßige und organische Texturen freizulegen. Die gehämmerten, sich verjüngenden Formen bilden einen reizvollen Kontrast zum glatten, geschliffenen Stein.

- Die Marmorplatte ist geschliffen, versiegelt und mit einer Viertelrundkante versehen.
- Der Rahmen ist aus massivem Metall geschmiedet und von Hand gehämmert.
- Die Ausführung „Geschmiedetes Messing“ besteht aus massivem Messing; die Ausführung „Geschmiedete Bronze“ besteht aus patiniertem massivem Messing; die Ausführung „Geschmiedetes Zinn“ besteht aus massivem Edelstahl.
