OBJ-01 ist eine verständliche einfache Geste, ein Objekt, das keiner Erklärung bedarf. Auf einen Blick verrät es sein Material, seinen Herstellungsprozess, seine Funktion und seinen Einsatz. Eine Platte aus rohem Metall, per Laser geschnitten und von Hand mit einem Gummihammer und ohne Schweißarbeiten zusammengefügt. Seine Größe entspricht der Modulation und dem Format des Materials in seinen kommerziellen Standards. Reine geometrische Figuren bilden die Leuchte; ein Rechteck, ein Kreis und hinten ein Zylinder, der den LED-Lichtpunkt enthält. Der ausgeschnittene Kreis übernimmt die Funktion eines Bildschirms und kann um 360 Grad gedreht werden, um das Licht nach Belieben zu lenken.
