KUU – was auf Finnisch „Mond“ bedeutet – ist so konzipiert, dass es durch einfaches Drehen des inneren Kreises der Pendelleuchte direktes und indirektes Licht spendet. Der Drehwinkel ist durch eine kabellose Stromverbindung zwischen den Teilen unbegrenzt.
Die KUU-Pendelleuchte wurde zur stimmungsvollen Beleuchtung inspiriert. Sie wollte eine Lampe schaffen, die je nach den vielseitigen Lichtbedürfnissen zu bestimmten Tageszeiten von direkter auf indirekte Beleuchtung umgestellt werden kann. Die Beweglichkeit der Lampe verleiht ihr eine sich ständig verändernde Figur, die unterschiedlich große Halbmonde und runde Formen bildet und uns an die Form des Mondes in verschiedenen Perioden erinnert.
