Die verstellbare Schreibtischleuchte ILE besteht aus einem lackierten Aluminiumsockel, einem Reflektor, einem Stiel und einer Lampenfassungsbaugruppe. Ein magnetischer Kugelgelenkmechanismus an der Oberseite des Stiels ermöglicht eine stufenlose Einstellung des Schirms. Das Basiselement enthält eine spezielle LED-Lichtquelle.
Genau wie bei Klappstühlen erreichen Klemmlampen im Vergleich zu normalen Stühlen nicht den gleichen Stellenwert wie Tischlampen. Es erscheint unfair, da Klemmlampen sehr nützlich sind. Vielleicht hängt es mit ihrer einzigartigen Verwendung und der Tatsache zusammen, dass sie, wenn sie nicht festgeklemmt sind, wie gebrechliche Menschen aussehen, die nicht in der Lage sind, alleine zu stehen, ohne das Gleichgewicht zu verlieren oder umzufallen.
