Diese vielseitige Stehlampe ist elegant und anmutig und verfügt über intelligente Details von Kopf bis Fuß. An der Oberseite sorgt der rotierende Kegeldiffusor für direktes Licht, das neu positioniert werden kann. Auf der Unterseite wird es durch einen atemberaubenden Sockel aus weißem Carrara- oder schwarzem Marquina-Marmor beschwert. Stiel und Kegel sind aus lackiertem Stahl oder gebürstetem Messing erhältlich. Der Diffusor besteht aus spritzgegossenem, opalem, fotograviertem PC (Polycarbonat). Sein Netzkabel ist 200 Zentimeter lang und verfügt über einen Fußschalter mit EIN-AUS-Funktion.
Die Inspiration hinter dem Design: Dieses fein ausbalancierte Stück des Künstlers hat eine Dualität. „Ich wollte eine Leuchte entwerfen, die einen doppelten Zweck erfüllt“, sagt er. „Es ist ein nach oben gerichtetes Feuerzeug, das den Raum mit Umgebungslicht beleuchtet und durch seine Drehung auch einen dunklen Begleiter zum Lesen bietet.“ Es gibt eine Vorstellung von Gleichgewicht, bei dem ein Kegel sanft auf seiner Spitze auf einem rotierenden Stab ruht.“
