OBJ-01 est un geste simple et compréhensible, un objet qui ne nécessite aucune explication. D'un seul coup d'œil, elle dévoile sa matière, son procédé de fabrication, sa fonction et son usage. Une plaque de métal brut, découpée au laser et assemblée à la main avec un marteau en caoutchouc et sans menuiserie soudée. Sa taille répond à la modulation et au format du matériel dans ses standards commerciaux. Des figures géométriques pures construisent le luminaire ; un rectangle, un cercle et un cylindre à l'arrière qui contient le spot lumineux LED. Le cercle, une fois découpé, adopte la fonction d'un écran et peut pivoter à 360 degrés pour diriger la lumière à volonté.
